First of all, I have to beg for apologies once again - this video was shot back in JULY and I've only just now managed to get it edited and posted (and as you'll see, it's not exactly an epic saga). I was planning on releasing this along with the "First Drive" article for the Element SC that should have been released by now. Anyhow, that's still in the works, but for now you can have a look at this Element SC displaying its eye-popping conedodging prowess.

You might recognize this as being the same cone course that appeared in our '07 Civic Si Sedan Test, and it may also be surprising to know how very close the laptimes were for this Element SC (some drivers were actually quicker in the SC than in the Si, heh). Without spoiling everything for the First Drive article I'll tell you that the SC has gobs of useful midrange torque and it seems like the chassis engineers managed to slip one past the Honda's hordes of overzealous corporate liability lawyers - this baby will DANCE! Well, maybe that did just spoil it for the article. Anyhow, check out this video. We've been trying to arrange to get one these with the intent of mounting sneak attacks at several local autocrosses but it hasn't worked out for us yet.
