We're in Motegi this week for the Japan 300, where Honda is hoping to capture their first racing victory on their own home track. It's been a long drought - they're 0 for 6 so far (5 CART Races, 1 IRL). Unfortunately internet connectivity is not easily available here so this may be the only timely update of the weekend.
Things are looking great for the big-H this weekend. The top 5 qualifiers from this afternoon are all Honda-powered, with Dan Wheldon (driving the No. 26 Klein Tools/Jim Beam Dallara/Honda/Firestone) taking pole position.
