Acura "UD" information

This past weekend, I received the Spring/Summer 2002 edition of "Crossroads," my local Acura dealer's newsletter. In the section "Product Highlights" it discusses the DN-X, The RD-X and the UD. It says:

"UD: This sports sedan will debut in March, 2003, boasting great performance in an aggressively-styled package. The UD (code-name only at this time) is expected to fill the gap vacated by the now-extinct Integra sedan. Priced less than the TL, this Acura sedan will go head-to-head with the lines of the BMW 3-series, Audi A4 and the Lexus IS. Acura has done a great job keeping this one a secret, so we will have to wait patiently for more details."

I realize this information is nothing new, however this is one more indication of what is to come!

We've heard that this new model will be based on the JDM/Euro Accord which is slightly smaller/narrower than the US model. So that seems to indicate that this model will be FWD. jp
