The FP RSX is indeed an impressive package. Few road cars (at any price) can match its combination of driving dynamics and overall liveability/utility. The comfort level, utility, and efficiency of a standard RSX-S are barely compromised, while the handling limits are raised significantly. In fact, the roadholding abilities of the car are elevated to such a point that you will likely find yourself subject to frequent frustration due to the fact that other motorists will be negotiating onramps and hairpin turns at speeds that the FP could easily manage at double or triple the rate.

The bottom line is that Acura has developed an upgrade path for the RSX Type-S which deserves attention from any serious enthusiast. The improvements realized are substantial, and while some folks may scoff at the $4800 price of admission, others will find it to be a relative bargain, especially considering the value of the OEM-quality components, full warranty support, and the knowledge that the setup is "dialed-in" to near perfection. The Factory Performance crew are working on similar packages for some of the other Honda models, and this bodes well for Honda and Acura enthusiasts.
