I had this setup SO briefly that I never got to really have a good feel for them. I never found good tire pressure for them or such. I have no real good feeling about how fast the tires wear out (but after 4-5 miles they still looked good) Things I noticed from XGT -- ride softer, less noise, grip was GODLIKE (I could do no wrong). The prices kinda fluctuate from $140 - $200 / tire. I have no idea why. This tire is supposed to be OEM for some Lotus car I think. Nice firm sidewalls. No discernible buckle. Negative side -- added weight slowed my car down a bit. Wet and dry this setup rocked!!! Everyone in this size opts for Yoko AVS or Pirelli P700Z (I have heard too many bad things about this tire for dry -- but good for wet) I'd get the GSD since they have a higher tread wear rating then AVS.

Goodyear GS-C 205/50/15

I just replaced the XGT-V4(s) on my 95 GSR with a set of GoodYear Eagle GS-C(s) 205/50-15 on the stock GSR wheels. The ride is stiffer than the XGTs but the cornering is a lot quicker and flatter and also much quieter than the XGT(s). These GS-C(s) are a big improvement over the XGT(s)! I got them from The Tire Rack @ $124 each and the service was great.
