Next-gen NSX(?) Test Mule Spied in Germany

A test mule that looks like the lovespawn of an S2000 and Buick Reatta has been snapped by spy photographers near the Nurburgring in Germany. There's speculation that Honda is using it for drivetrain and chassis development for the next generation NSX.

UPDATE: According to several of our resourceful readers who ran DVLA enquiries on the two plate numbers worn by the test mules, there are two engines being tested. One of them (plate number OU07 EFX) is fitted with a 5.0L petrol motor while the other (plate number OU07 EFW) uses a 2.2L diesel motor. The online search facility is located at http://www.vehiclelicence.gov.uk/ (select "Vehicle Enquiry" on the left hand menu list).

Edmunds.com has now posted video footage. This thing is looking pretty fast and that V10 sounds pretty sweet.
