Honda hypes Acura as the luxury heavyweight, with up to five models expected in the next five years.

Vehicles to come out of the Acura stable include the previously-announced TSX (at about $26,000), a Gas-Electric Hybrid Super-Sedan, an SUV/Truck Hybrid based on MDX (which will get a 265hp 3.5L V6 in 04MY) and, possibly, a V8 RWD RL replacement (but not expected until 07MY).

NOTE: it's already been announced that the '03 MDX will have 260hp (not the 265 hp mentioned in the link above). Also, delaying the launch of the redesigned RL to MY'07 seems insane, but if Acura sees the potential for a greater return on investment by dedicating their stretched resources to developing more SUVs and hybrid vehicles in the near term, then it fits past patterns.
