The Honda Division reported sales of 110,191 and year-to-date sales of 812,292 with Honda light truck sales up 2.0 percent, highlighted by the Pilot sport utility vehicle up 40.5 percent to 11,741, and CR-V sport utility vehicle, up 1.7 percent to13,932. Acura Division sales of 16,434, up 9.5 percent, set a new August record with the all-new Acura TL performance luxury sedan adding to the momentum with 6,445 units, an increase of 52.3 percent for the month. Acura TSX sales of 3,119 represent the third best month ever for the model, with sales up 34.0 percent and the MDX luxury sport utility vehicle posted an increase of 4.9 percent to 4,823.
