Both are again from MagX SCOOP:
The Multivan section reads:
"Honda seems to be developing a multi-wagon for both the European and Japanese markets. With side sliding door and its tall height, the new multi-wagon will be practical."
The Large Minivan section reads:
"With the Nissan Elgrand and the Toyota Alphard on the market, the luxury large minivan market has become ever so popular in Japan recently. So Honda decided to develop a large minivan to match the rivals.
The engine fitted on the new Honda large minivan will be either the J35 A 3.5 liter V6 unit (240ps/33kg-m) of the Lagreat, or the J30 A 3.0 liter unit (210ps/27.5kg-m) of the Odyssey Prestige.
The overall length and width will be identical to that of the Odyssey and they will be somewhere around 4,800mm x 1,800mm. However, the height will be taller to reach around 1,900mm. Therefore, the customers of the Step Wagon, who wish to switch to higher class luxury model, can choose the new model smoothly."
