Honda Pilot hits the US magazines

This month, both C&D and MT test the new Pilot. MT's test is part of a big review of new crossover SUVs while C&D does a full, individual road test.
Interesting excerpts:
Both mags got 0-60 in 8.1-8.19 seconds and 1/4 mile in 16.3-16.4@85
Both magazines state that the Pilot is probably the best crossover SUV today.
Both mags praised the handling and noted that off-road traction was surprisingly good with the VTM4 system.
C&D complained about the column shifter being outdated and finicky and said that the Pilot lacked excitement, but that wasn't what was required in this class. The only competitive SUV either magazine tested that was faster was the new Trailblazer (0-60 a couple tenths quicker).
Looks like a good start and more strong sales for Honda.
