I dunno.... the tempos were too predictable and robotic... and the macrodynamics were too soft.

what's surprising about all this is the fact they chose the Motown Symphony Orchestra out of all places to showcase their goods. If I'm not mistaken, Ford is a big contributor to the DSO. Kudos for Honda in pulling this thru in the US Big 2.5 back yard.

yes, I know what ure talking about Tony, and after watching an actual 'human' composer, I thought he might need some vicadin after all the motions he put his aging body through. I don't think Asimo is allowed any meds for his joints if he moves around like that.

We just saw the Philharmonia with Christoph von Dohnányi’s final tour before Salonen replaces him.

They did Beethoven's Fifth.

Poor Asimo has no hope of keeping up yet.

Absolutely, NO HOPE YET.

He needs three stage VTEC to keep up with the old guy, can you imagine what he'll need to keep up with Salonen (we've seen him many times with the LA Phil, recently just two months ago in his farewell performance in OC ). He did Bruckner's Sixth....

Word has it that some engineers at Honda are deeply insulted by your "NO HOPE YET". Insiders have confirmed that it has become a do or die for die-hard Honda engineers after reading your blasphemous statement.

I just hope I can be alive to see the challenge.

I want to see Asimo take overs for Lars Ulrich playing drums in Metallica.

Asimo has a lot more personality.

Maybe I'll drive one of my Hondacars and I'll park it in front of BLDG 100 with a NO HOPE YET sign.

The engineers can see it when they go to lunch at the cafeteria.

Assuming they are in SoCal where we have some real classical repertoire.... If they are in Ohio, we'll then that would explain a lot of things.

Sorry Asimo guys. No hope. I saw Asimo live a couple of years ago, and it moves in very ponderous ways.

Maybe those engineers should attend some live classical concerts for a change, eh?

After all, understanding the soul of a performance is beyond even Asimov, it's not just plain robotics.

So how about putting Asimo on Country Music? That should be pretty easy!!
