Anyone experience back pain in their TSX?

I just got an '08 and now feel pain when I drive for upwards of an hour. Looking at other posts on other sites it seems like it's a problem that a lot of people have.

Was wondering if anyone had this problem and if a lumbar pillow or something similar helped? I've tried all sorts of positions with no luck. The lumbar support is too high to be effective.

Thanks.

I had the same problem in my TSX. I have a blown disc and a small lumbar pillow did help...Also my Chiropractor said your body will/may adjust to the new seating position. Hope this helps.

Give your body some time to adjust to the seat and also work to find a seating position that suits you. I found that the seats on my '04 TSX were extremely comfortable, once I found the ideal seating position. In my case, the best position was to tilt the seat cushion so the thigh end was as high as it would go, and the rearmost portion was basically all the way down. This seemed to align everything exactly right and I could drive for hours on end with no fatigue.

The seats in my '08 Si sedan lack this adjustability, and I just took a road trip over the weekend and found that my body was aching a little bit after ~4 hours behind the wheel. I can't get the front of the seatbottom tilted up enough. Hopefully my body will adjust, though.

Thanks guys for the reply.

TX, how large was the lumbar pillow you bought? I saw a couple at Brookstone the other day and one was pretty small and just for the lower portion of your back and the other was larger and went from your behind all the way up to about midway up your back.

Had similar troubles with my BMW 325xi. Ultimately sold it and bought a 2005 Accord - never looked back. A chiropractor also helped me.
