This car needs to be in the LUX coupe range but everyone here wants a plain and simple mid engine 550HP true sports car. Where you actually shift your own gears. Sure have sat nav and bluetooth with ABS and a few other things for everyday cruising but keep it simple like the NSX just with more power and style is that too much to ask of Honda?

Interesting, but i would much rather take both of those things. In fact that is why i like honda so much, you often get the best of both worlds.

Ie.) Nsx was the first exotic you could drive around the city. As for manual vs paddles; i've driven both and id take paddles any day. Having said that, only if they are similar to the ones found from modena.

There is a reason why F1 drivers use paddles.... and not manual transmission.

Yes I agree still very usable everyday. But as I said I would rather shift my own gears even if paddles work great and they do on the track.

It's all relative. Pre 964 Porsche enthusiasts with their beefy forearms will probably smirk at my power steering and ABS, features which many enthusiasts in that era believed made driving "soft".

That said, Honda should showcase technology through a carbon fiber monocoque chassis, a la Carrera GT/McLaren F1, not through numerous driving aid acronymed modules and gadgets. Sadly, gadgets and comfort features sell. Even more so, prestige(which Acura brand is lacking) is also very fickle for this market demographic. Take the Phaeton as an example.

Also, Honda, if you're reading this, please consider input from Button(a la what you did with Senna on the first gen NSX) and make some component on it made of titanium(connecting rods would be nice), for heritage sake and for magazine editors to draw parallels.

Yeah you are quite right advanced materials and design but still very few driving aids is the way to go. You can have VCM and all the great technology in the engine just let the driver drive and make it simple. Few gadgets nice just don't go over the top.
