from the looks of things, this ASC is going to be Acura's very own Aston Martin Vantage. which is very cool in its own right. a V10 FR GT car. that's uber-baller status. but how about something a little "cheaper", lighter and nimbler. perhaps something mid-engine, like the HSC we saw a couple years back. only with a flat-plane crank VTEC V8. how great would that be? a Honda F430. you know they can do it. they've already got the technology. have a super sports luxury "yea i'm kind of a big deal" car at the top and right below it have a "i'm goin fast, and i can carve!" car right under it. don't you wanna see this happen? i'm not saying i could or couldn't ever afford either one, but a man can dream right?

Hell even with what they were going to have with the HSC a 3.5 liter DOHC iVTEC V6 pushing about 375hp would of been a fantastically fun drive. We don't really know though, it might still be in the pipeline and I do hope if it is ever released it keeps the H and not the A. I just will never accept Acura, I would much rather any vehicle being powered by Honda to be called a Honda and not the foo-foo look at me nameplate. Just not my style really and I don't have small cock syndrome where I would feel inferior if my car had an H parked next to other luxury brands. Unfortunately here in Japan, they are bringing that damn A over here next year simply because toyboat brought Lixass over. I know some of you are going to condemn me for my views on Acura, but so be it. And you might not fit the mold of why I dislike the whole naming scheme, maybe it's the 2 extra year warranty or loaner car or what have you, but if you are one to buy an Acura and look down upon a Honda, you are the mold for sure.

Teg, I agree wholeheartedly!

I've always thought of such badge snobs as vacuous. Yeah, your car's better than a Honda 'cause its named after a shitty
wristwatch.

Sadly, there's many of those around, with more s than IQ points.
