Possibly selling 2007 Civic w/ navi?    (Score: 1, Normal) 10-24-2006 01:46

hey guys,

I just bought a 2007 Si with Navigation last month and I am having some 2nd thoughts about the car.

Don't get me wrong, I love the car. It's really quick and that navigation is friggin sweet.

But when I was in the market for a car, it was either the 07 si or an 05' S2000. I am kind of regretting not getting the S2000.

Either way, I am thinking about possibly putting my car up for sale. I've been reading on these posts and it appears that you guys are real good about keeping the 'sellers' real honest. So I am asking for your opinions.

My car specs:

2007 Si w/ navi
Fiji Blue Pearl ext
black int
factory floor mats with si embossment
factory tint
1500 miles
I also bought the gap insurance and the 7 year 100,000 mile warranty since the warranty covered the navi.

I ended up paying about $26k for the car.

Since i seem to be one of very few in the states to want to sell an 07' SI with navi.... Is it pretty fair for me to try to sell this thing for at least $26k? at least so i can break even? or am i just screwed?

any input will be appreciated... .thanks in advance.

No man you have to lose money. You cant take a car off a lot and expect to not lose anything.

Also, with the 2007's Honda is increase production on the Si and the Si Sedan so the demand wont be as high.

Just stuff to watch out for. Good luck.

I am going to post it on the 'for sale' section for a few days to see if anybody is interested.

I have a perfect (1400 miles) 2006 S2000 in white with black leather-trimmed interior I'm trying to sell for best offer over $28000.

Where is the FOR SALE section, anyway, I've never seen it on here.

I find it amazing how many people have posted things like this, where they want to get their money out of their "used" cars. I mean, if something is hard to find, like the original SI navi. But I don't think Honda will let this happen 2 years in a row. Guys, it's a used car. Good luck on makin' all your money back.

you could sell the car but you're probably going to lose a good 6k at least if you paid 26k for it. Might even be 8k depending on where you live.

You can't transfer GAP insurance. So it's not really a reselling point. I'll give you $22K for it if you want to sell it to me.

Factory tint?

How about dealer installed tint. Pretty sure the Si dosent come with tint on the windows from the factory, and the litte 94% tint they do have dosent count becasue thats more or less clear.
