Ok its not done yet, but I am really bored so here are progress pictures of it. I matched the color up to the Si logo and even though it doesn’t quite look like it in the picture, the color matches almost exact with the Si logo on the car. I was thinking of some how putting some silver into it some how since i have a silver car. yeah that how bored I am, nothing to do to the car right now, so I have to paint crap... I think the brakes are next... maybe.

Before

This is after primer, 2 coats of paint and 1 coat of clear

ok so I just went and looked at it and apparently my dumb a$$ touched it at some point whenit was wet so I had to sand out a finger print. So now there is another coat of paint drying. Any one think I could bake it to get a nice final dry coat? It is plastice but it basically sits on the intake manifold its got to be hot there, what do you guys think?

acronym for Youth With A Mission. Its a type of college program through University of the Nations. What you do is go to Kona for 3 months, take classes, then you go overseas to a 3rd world country like S. Africa or the Pacific Islands (which is where i'm going) and you do one long missions trip there. The whole program is 6 months long, pretty great experience, and from some college back in the states, they do give you credit for it.

But if I go red, you think that might be to much red? Also have ot make sure its the same red, since I didnt use high temp on this one, but I am sure I can get it.

Maybe if they are both red I'll put a Alabaster silver stripe down the middle of both of them..... some thing to break it up.

I used high heat paint, four coats all together.

Such an easy way to dress up under the hood.
