Have I been asleep, or is this new? I just went to the Acura.com site and checked out the RDX page for updates. On the list of Exterior Accessories, they have "Sport Suspension" along with the usual gold package, running boards, chin spoiler, etc.

Anybody got the goods on what that is?

Nice catch. Maybe there is an A-Spec package available?

I cant believe Acura is still offering a "gold package". This isnt 1992 anymore Acura. Also, ACURA MAKE THE A-SPEC PKG A FACTORY OPTION NOT A DEALER ACCESSORY!

That's what I was thinking, but they list the front and rear skirts as separate items. While all of these could be bundled into an A-Spec, it certainly looks like they are offering the kit piecemeal.

Or, maybe they just left a word off the end of the description. Perhaps it was supposed to read, "Sport Suspension Decal," or something like that. ;)

It wouldn't make any sense for the A spec kit to be a factory option. This would pretty much garauntee that you would have to special order the vehicle. As it stands now, you pick the color vehicle you want and they get you an A spec kit to match your color choice, simple, it takes about 2 days to get the parts. If it was a factory option, dealers would keep one or two on the lot (if any at all) and you can only get the color they have, if they don't have the color it would take several months to have it built. You aren't likely to get a very big discount on a special order vehicle.

But it wouldnt cost the buyer 5000 dollars for some ugly wheels lowering springs and shocks and some tacked on looking aero bits now would it? I say go the BMW route and offer sport packages for around 1-2k Not some outrageously over priced 5k abomination the screws with the original lines of the car.
