2002 Honda Civic EX VTEC question...    (Score: 1, Normal) 05-13-2006 00:45

I have this Honda Civic and whoever had this car before me abused it like mad!! My dad comes up to me and shows me this car and im like d000d sweet car. The car is almost touching the floor it had some small tires on it. I open the hood check it out, and I see red wires EVERYWHERE! I'm guessing this guy had gauges on this before cuz there are holes in the driver side where you usually put gauges. And So I know whoever had this car abused it... 2002 and 89K Miles...

Well The check engine light is on.. forever... I get the PO135 reading on both of my OBD Scanners... Aparently somethings wrong, even when i erase it comes back... I know there HAS to be something wrong with the heating thing...

Well I check it out... I just put a BRAND NEW sensor in there i thought thought would help but no... I check and EVERY WIRE had been cut and I put them together and still giving me the same code... I don't know what to do next...? Do you think my sensor is faulty? Or the wire is cut from somewhere else...

As I was typing this, I remembered I had another civic... I could try and put that sensor in too... But this one is new... Any suggestions on what to do...? Also where is the ECU... I had a GS-R before and on those old civics, the GS-R, and the Del sol it is in the passanger side. I checked there are only wires there which i disconnected but i dont know if that was ECU or not but my OBD scanner still reads code when i dissconnect...

Any Ideas on the Sensor?
