i think about the guy who is next on the list, having to wait all this time to get a car, only to have this dumbass get one before him and crash it. he is probably thinking "they should have given it to me". As for the driver, i think that would really suck, wait 2 years and only put 9 miles on it. hope they were good miles buddy.

There's a lot of speculation on that page about whether it's fixable, but even if it is, it'll always have that history to contend with. Having SALVAGE on the title of a $200k car can't be a good thing. My guess is it'll become a part source because that's an awful lot of damage, and it's likely the drivetrain was put into some distress as well.

Totally fixable. There's nothing up there but radiators and a tiny luggage compartment. It looks like it missed the major frame rails (which are probably a subframe anyways). It'll be expensive, but no way will it be totalled. Of course, Carfax should have a record of the repair, which means it will be hard to sell the car....

I sure hope so. I don't know the GT production numbers, but I'm sure they're low. Maybe this car will stay in the family, and everyone can laugh about how grand dad toasted the GT back in '06.

Heh heh, depends on how many of those get smashed beyond repair. How many of those did they make- 1500? 2000? That might be too large of a production run to be able to get top dollar for a rebuilt car.

Guess if it was an Enzo- with production of less than 500- then a rebuild wouldn't hurt much in say, 30 years. Lots of those $$xmillion Ferraris are low volume examples built from the carnage of smashed race cars.
