Looooong 2-door coupe.
Still looks the same also. Nothing special.
Why are car companies so conservative with their designs? Yawn.

Because when you're Honda, you can just ride on your reputation and don't have to try much. GM had that approach prior to the 80s.

Conservative? I thought a lot of people are complaining for it looking different from the norm (shape of the hood/creases and grill).
Oh, and Ford Probe never came to my mind looking at Accord Coupe. Commonality ends with coupe factor.

Interesting, ever since this body style debuted in for 2003, I've always thought it looked like a Ford Probe, from all angles except the rear.
Honda can do better - and did with the 2002 coupe.

Well, to each his own, the style is not bad at all for a family coupe to me, and from personal experiences with Hondas, I'll still buy it even if it looked like a Impala/Montego/Sonata/Camry/G6 but has the same interiors and mechanicals and built quality as a Honda.

Gotta agree with KFlow and ArilingtonMark..........the first thing I thought of, when I first saw the current generation coupe, was, "It reminds me of those old Ford Probes!"
Not sure Honda will ever design a better looking exterior for the coupe than my '99 EX V-6 ('98 - '02 generation??) , though!
The current coupe is starting to grow on me (not unlike a fungus?!!), though.......starting to get that new car fever....
Have a bit of a dilemma. Do I buy the current coupe in 2006 or 2007 (tend to buy my Accords by mid-/late spring), or wait for the next generation of coupes (due for a complete exterior redesign for model year 2008 ?). I guesstimate I'll have between 160K-175K miles on my current coup by Spring 2008.
I could live with the current coupe, but what if the next generation is much better looking? Conversely, what if I wait for the next generation, and it totally disappoints? Wish someone had a crystal ball, to tell me how the next generation coupe will look.
