i have a technical question. i have never seen anybody do this (maybe there is a good reason) but i wanted to know....what if i were to find some sort of a y pipe...and basically put 2 cold air intakes into my 2000 civic...would it give more boost since there is more air? or do nothing at all and damge my engine. do you know? if so please email me i would really like to do this and i want to know if it is or isnt a good idea.

i dont think 2 filters going into a y pipe wpuld make much of a diff. maybe more noise but w/o FI ur car will only pull so much air.

Chances are if you did that, you wouldn't be pulling any extra air, what would happen is, it would probably distribute the air evenly between both pipes. But I dont know, that sounds like a pretty slick design but im not sure if it would work

You might end up with more flow potential but it won't necessarily translate into more actual power. In any case, it won't damage your motor, however. As long as the air it's breathing is filtered and "clean", it's all good.
