They are already arrogant about next year’s engine!......

"
The Japanese Grand prix didn’t turn out thew way the BMW Williams team had hoped, the Grove based squad walking away from the Suzuka circuit without any points to their name at all, the first and only time this happened throughout the entire 2003 season.

As revealed in the ‘Our Spies In Suzuka Report’the FW25’s of Juan Pablo Montoya and Ralf Schumacher certainly had the speed in Japan, the two drivers flying uphill in the S-corners and for the first time they were as fast as the Ferrari duo in this area. One reason for this was a new Michelin tyre while the other was they new aerodynamic update that included a new front wing, new guide-vanes and new rear bodywork.

With second place in the grasp, the team are now determine to do better in 2004 and even Ralf Schumacher is of the belief that it will be ‘his year’ as Williams have sorted out their weakness in the aero department. Michelin are also proving to be stronger than their rivals at Bridgestone most of the time, but the most important factor in the equation is none other than the BMW engine.

The new rules state that the 2004 engines must last the entire weekend and the engine planned for the FW26 is as good as this years V10 and there are strong doubts that no other engine manufacturer will be able to come close to it. In fact the test results of the new BMW P84 should frighten the competition as it has already completed 800 km in the car without any problems whatsoever.

And as for power, instead of the 19 000 rpm that the P83 generated, test driver Marc Gene completed a simulated weekend that saw an output of 18 750 rpm, which is only 250 rpm less. That means that despite the longer mileage, there is almost no drop in power! "

You don't have to be a sceptic to want a source. It is pretty standard to state the source of a big quote.

And gp2003.com is not exactly a reliable source. They have articles such as: http://www.gp2003.com/news/news.php?lang=uk&lastpoll=&id=3427&mode=detail&month=10&year=2003&PHPSESSID=ec62f1ee5c44f541545042d02f6b3e1b which claims that Villeneuve was offered one dollar to stay at BAR. How believable is that? The source is "our spies in Suzuka"... okay...

You all know that this engine, as did all previous, fantastic most reliable, most horsepower, best engineered,BMW engines will have to go through it's inevitable cycle of blowing up a number of times before they get it just right at :B(bunch of) M(megalomaniac) W(wankers).
