It is already July 4th and there's still nothing to be seen here.(other than lower lease rate across core models)

Does anyone here have inside Infos about any upcoming promotions?

Incentives vary by province, and also trim levels. Honda Canada is very tight lipped on next month's incentives. Often dealers don't know the new month's incentives until the night before the new month, or sometimes even the first day of the month.

You don't need to wait for promotions, just haggle the discount. I (my wife) bought the first Accord Hybrid at the dealer and got over $2000 off the car and more discounts on accessories. Overall saving was $2800.

When I bought my current car(2015 CRV), I saved over $4000 from incentive, dealer discount and free accessories. So I will definitely wait for incentives from Honda Canada this time around.

March 15. Honda offered $1500 off cash purchase from mid Feb to the end of March.

The CRV is made in Canada and that probably means there's more money for incentives. Also, Honda typically does their end of year clearance promotions starting in September. The downside is that you're buying a 2018 with the year almost over and you have to take what you can get in terms of trims and/or colours.

The discount I got was from the dealer only, not Honda Canada.

BTW, one more thing, there are never incentives to purchase special models IIRC. The hybrids and Type R and maybe even the Si are excluded from those deals.

Unless I remembered it incorrectly, one of my coworker ordered a 2014 Accord during the incentives days in August that year, and he couldn't buy one later on from that dealer, they informed him that all of the 14 Accords were already sold out.

Thatís hilarious. The dealer doesnít even make anywhere near that on the car. Not to mention that they were just made available about a week ago.

I didn't pay anywhere near MSRP, but manufacturer cash incentives would be a hell lot nicer.

New Canadian trade in promotions:

Pelts.
Good old growth timber.
Smoked meats.
Whiskey.

I think in Quebec you can also trade in poems (no prose) and various folkloric songs.
