I think it's about time Honda offers more engine sizes in their cars.

The Fit, Civic, CR-V, and Pilot could all use a broader engine range. Why not give people the option of more torque and hp, if they're willing to fork over the cash?

Personally, I'd like to see a non-Si Civic with a 2.4 liter engine. I'd also like to see a CR-V with 200 hp, but I'm not picky about what engine they use for it.

As nice as that might be, I highly doubt you'll see it, especially in the examples you mentioned. Civic and CR-V are both selling so bloody well with one engine (and they're in the hunt with their competition in terms of acceleration and MPG numbers) that it's extremely difficult, almost impossible, to make the case to add another.

I thnk this subject makes more sense for Acura. A 2.0t, 3/3.5tt and maybe a diesel option would do wonders for Acura.
