I am very looking forward to replace my 2009 MDX, for better seating arrangement, the sliding 2nd row is a big plus, better FE is very welcome, and I am very happy with SW-AWD and so the continue on the next MY is a good news for me. what i notice is the missing of Active Damper system, it's a excellent feature on my MDX currently, not just for driving dynamics, it also compensate for better ride when tired become stiff at low temperature, such as early spring or late fall. anyone know or can confirm if that Active Damper gone for next gen MDX?

I think its out, however they might have modified the suspension enough so its not necesary anymore. As you, I liked the magnetorheologic dampers, they made a big difference in the handling and ride of the present version. The non sport models were noticeably more clunky around corners and had quite a bit more "float". BTW mine had to have both front dampers replaced at around 35K luckily it was still under warranty since they cost around 2K, OUCH!

I hope they can re-introduce it in MMC at least. it's a must have for the pothole ridden city. i now began to wonder, did Honda pull these out because of it's expected life (not up to Honda standard?), still a lot of $$ to replace even at something like 60k miles. if so, then i would began to worry. it would also be nice if the system can drop a 10mm or 20mm for highway, as it may boost their FE.
