Those trim pieces really make the MDX look better. It definitely needed it in the back to tie in the look a la the ML. Now if we can just get some foglights on this thing and it would be perfect. I love the way the current gen MDX looks on the road with the DRLs on and that's all I feel the third gen is missing on the exterior.

It looks good in those pics but some of the others I've seen it looks softer and more limp. As I see my wife's 2011 pull up the driveway it looks more taut and athletic and I'm inclined to like it more. Maybe there are just a bunch of unflattering photos circulating from NYIAS coverage.

I keep looking at pics to convince myself it looks better than the current but I can't do it. That's not to say it's ugly, it is handsome and I'm sure it will be a huge seller but I still prefer the more hunkered-down, muscular look of the current one.

this generation looks more classy and RICH vs the current one more mainstream and honda with leather look.

I made a few good photochops that help it out some. No need to re-post them here, just go look in the threads. I added exhaust tips and stretched the rear shoulder hump and tweaked the grill some. Little things make a big difference..
