2013, Wagon Tech, Black and black.

The "old" one has 12000 miles on the clock since last June. One trip to the NorthWest and commuting around to work.

I think I'll miss the Vortex Blue, but I guess my wife doesn't want the same color.

I'm not really excited, just relieve that we got at least another TSX wagon for one more year. It delays our buying it off lease until my son graduates and that should free up money to buy the car if there is no TSX for '14.

HINT: If anyone at AHM does read... Do a '14 TSX Wagon.

My wife just texted me a picture. Black Tech Wagon with 10 miles.

The "old" one, btw, had just 13900 miles! And that included a long 3000+ mile trip along the West Coast last year.

Black.... this car will look good at night on the Vegas Strip. :-)

That's great, congrats!

When does the clock expire on the Si and what's replacing it?

Another Si... same color ( dark silver metallic ).. I wanted red, but She doesn't like red. Go figure.

Lemme see, the Si should be born this week, so give or take some time ( hopefully the Teamsters won't go on strike this spring) I figure we'll get it by early June.

I must say that the black TSX is much more formal than the blue. In some ways, I like the shape better in black, yet the blue is such a neat looking color, I mean it really stands out. Yet the shape of the car does look better in black.

Sort of like a sport hearse for short dead people in a hurry... :-D

Congratulations!! Please send us some photos. I just installed cross bars & bike attachments to my TSX Wagon. It actually looks really sporty. Mine is GLM, but, your black wagon will look even better with bicycle on it!

The issue with pictures is that I would be posting them under my own domain name and then you'd know too much about me.

Trust me, you can see my car under the build link I submitted.

It's a normal TSX Wagon, unlike Jeff-X's who modded his wheel/tires.

Also, I'm running factory wheels and tires on our TSX along with a Mugen suspension. The SSRs seen in photos here earlier were only on the car long enough for me to get a photo of it.
This thread has the pics. http://www.vtec.net/forums/one-message?message_id=1062058

It looks nice lowered. We thought about going White but then it becomes too Standard Japanese Cah!

So, we got black.. drove it exactly one day, it got a bit of dust and that night we got a very light rain with big drops.... So, yep... looks like shit already.

And now it won't rain for three months or the day after I wash it... whichever comes first. :-P

We park it outside.

Oh, it doesn't have plates yet. It takes our DMV like two months to get around to sending those... the temporary sticker on the front window is good for like 3 months, which likely saved me a ticket last year in Oregon off a radar cop on the I5. I was doing 75 in a 65.

My son, a few miles behind me, with CA plates, got pulled over... if only my wife would figure out how to use her cell phone while on route!!!! I called to warn them... but she was "too busy to talk to me right now, wait a minute" -she puts the phone down, then she picks it up again and "wooops! a cop!".

Incredible, huh?

Ours had just over 14K miles.

Vortex Blue, Tech, with roof crossbars, all weather mats, all weather rear cargo mat and cargo net.

Not a single dent, scratch, nothing, nada... perfect shape. Barely used back seat and passenger seat. CD never used. Spare tire never used....

I mean, it was perfect. Just broken in.

Now that AHM has gone into one year leases I'd expect that they quality of their auction cars is gonna get far better. My wife asked if they would sell our '12 TSX via the employee used car lot and they told her it had "too many" miles....

Which means associates are going to get access to exceptional used cars... except they will be more expensive...

I figure out '12 Si will be sold to associates (Navi, 8000 miles. not a single dent/scratch. Back seat never used).

Seems to me like you would be perfectly fine with a CR-Z Tony !!!

Do you have another car for the times when you actually use the back seat ?!?!? :P

At the risk of taking this thread where it does not belong (thanks Daniel)...

I disagree about your comment on the Si... It's very drivable in the midrange and really pulls away from the stop very well.... it does sacrifice top end though and to drive it fast you short shift it.

It's the old AP1 vs AP2 thing again.

The CR-Z would be great... have you read the review of Jackson Racing's supercharger?

So now it drives more like every other car out there, and lost it's most identifying trait... And it's not a "torque monster" as you always try to infer it is.

AP1 vs. AP2 is not the same comparison as the AP2 still reved to 8,000 and had top-end pull...

No I haven't, as I don't care about the CR-Z and certainly don't count aftermarket parts as we're discussing stock Hondas.
