I know they are two totally different vehicles... but wouldn't it be really hard not to consider the MDX if you were in the market for a $55K luxury sedan from Acura like the RLX? MDX has AWD, large seating capacity, nice features, etc. for less than a FWD RLX. If I'm a real estate agent taking client to see $500K homes, wouldn't the MDX make just as nice an impression? Is there a chance dealers will be able to move potential customers from one model to the other during purchase consideration? Love to hear some dealer feedback.

MDX doesn't have much features... just power tail gate is only thing I can think of that MDX has over a normal loaded civic.

remember MDX is Honda's cash cow. It's where they clean up and make huge huge profits. If the RLX brings you into the show room and you buy an MDX then Honda wins, BIG TIME.

Hmmm... Civics have 300hp, ACC, SH-AWD, ELS audio, CMBS, BSI, and seating for 6 adults???

Oh yeah, and the Civic has a Flux Capacitor and retractable wings.
