I think Acura should introduce a true flagship sedan by using and applying the NSX technologies.

NLX should have the following characteristics:
- RWD with e-SH-SHAWD
- Same powertrain as NSX i.e. 400+ hp
- 8 speed transmission
- best in class mpg
- best in class handling
- best in class passenger room
- sexy exterior design
- As usual top in safety
- Ofcourse several Acura First - some more new Acronyms.
- Launch globally under Acura brand

Like this title got your attention here, I'm sure NLX with these characteristics will put Acura on track to becoming a true Luxury brand and winner.

Think Tanks, Strategists and Product Planners @ Acura, I hope you're getting this message.

As far as the AWD RLX, I believe it's not far off from your wishlist. Apart from the sexy design, obviously.

- It most definitely uses the NSX technology. The RLX has a 2-electric-motor differential in back and a 7-speed DCT with electric motor attached to a V6 in front. The NSX is the same setup, simply reversed.
- Rated 30/30mpg, it will easily be the most fuel efficient in class, and may have the best handling and passenger room as well.

I believe speedyracer is talking about a full size sedan slotting above the RLX which would compete directly with the S-class, 7 series, A8, XJ etc. Although I dont think Acura is quite ready to compete with the big boys yet. Not to mention that a V8 or larger engine is prominent in this class of cars.

New Luxury eXpression sounds good for NLX.
New Legend could also be used.

@Potenza - Acuraguy is right. I think RLX is far off from the competitors. Acura doesn't place RLX against S-class, 7-series, LS or A8. So RLX seems like a comprise.

Moreover, RLX is still is a FWD, I'm suggesting that they should not reverse the NSX powertrain for NLX.

How about the following line up for Acura:

Coupe/Sports cars - CSX, RSX, NSX
Sedans - ILX, TLX, RLX, NLX
SUVs - SDX (small cuv), RDX, MDX

Introduce Type-R packaging for extra sport features, similar to AMG, M, RS, F-Sport

@Jeff - Do you think Acura have any such plans for a similar product lineup?
