I would really like a 'sport' with no sunroof, I hate that you have to have one with the EX

Could Accord Sport be VERSUS Camry SE? Camry has L, LE, SE, XLE. Toyota Camry is the rival car, no one else. Makes sense, common sense.

I agree with you. It's a foregone conclusion that the engine, the only engine, will be the Earth Dreams Technology (EDT)(terrible name, btw) 2.4L 181-hp motor. My bet is the Sport model will have a 6-spd MT (great!), decent (and likely different) 17" alloys wheels, firmer shocks & springs but likely the same NHTSA ride height as the other models, and maybe a 22mm rear bar in place of the usual 17-19mm. With a little luck, the front seats may be bolstered differently, but that might involve more cost that HMC is prepared to invest in this model.

I really doubt the Sport model will be an "SE", as that traditionally has been the designation used with last-of-the-model-year Special Edition option.

And, sorry Tony, I have no desire to clutter up a Sport model with navigation systems, comm systems, moonroofs, etc.

I can live with this. This is a decent alternative to the constant whine of a CVT. Here's hoping the dealers order a bunch of them with MTs.
