Conclusion

In the end, what you really want to know is "should I buy this book?" The answer is "it depends".
If you've built your own engines, put together a forced induction application, tuned a motor, etc. then you really don't _need_ this book. You might want it on your shelf to make sure you're up to date on what the rest of the world is reading though.
However, if you're new to the Honda world or still in the bolt-on phase, I think Kojima's contribution should eventually find its way onto your reading list. Yes, some areas could be improved, especially the editing which appears to have been done by someone who is not familiar with imports, but I haven't read a perfect book yet. And in the end, the good far outweighs the bad.
On our new TOV RPM rating system, I give this book a solid 7,000 rpm (out of 10,000 rpm). Right in the meat of the power curve.
