Takeuchi and Tachikawa won the second round of the All Japan Gran Touring Car (JGTC) championship today in their Cerumo Toyota Supra. The top two Honda NSX from the first round in Aida were severly limited due to their heavy penalty weights. The highest placed Honda was the Mugen NSX of Ito and Schwager. They carried only a 10 Kg weight from their finishing spot in Aida. The win knocked the NSX's to second in the points, but with the penalty weights shifting to the top placed Supras, it should even out in the next round at Sugo.
In GT300, a Honda engine won. Most GT300 cars are based on popular road models, but a unique Vemac 320 R with an NSX V-6 won in Fuji this weekend, it's debut race.
