By selling 148.253 units during the 2007 Japanese fiscal year (07/04
08/03), the compact Fit, has become the bestselling registration car (that
doesnt include mini-vehicles) in Japan for that period. Thats the second time
the Fit achieves that performance since its introduction in 2001; the previous
one being during fiscal year 2002.
The second generation Fit, introduced in October 2007 with an excellent
package, high fuel economy, and advance styling, has been very popular among an
extensive range of customers, becoming the bestselling registration car in Japan
in the past 5 months (07/11 08/03).
