In an update today in their "Inside Line" section, Edmunds.com quotes sources who say that a 420hp, 4.8 Liter V8-powered (with VCM cylinder-cut technology) RL is headed our way. The car will supposedly feature an FR layout with SH-AWD, which is the setup that Honda says will underpin the next generation NSX. In recent press conferences, Takeo Fukui has suggested that they were looking at taking what they've learned from the NSX development program and possibly applying it to other models. The RL would be one of the most obvious candidates for such technology sharing.
