The lowlights of this story are the complete, immediate ban on:
-Car to Pit Telemetry (??? WHAT?!)
-Pit to Car Telemetry/Control (Fine)
-ALL Radio Communications between Pit and Car
-Cars must be parked in Parc Ferme between Final Qualifying and Race...no unsupervised work may be performed on the cars during this time (therefore, no qualifying-only components, as qualifying and race kit must be the same)
-NO Spare Cars
-No Electronic Aids (to be enforced with up to an including measures such as STANDARD ECU PROGRAMMING ACROSS ALL CARS!??!)
-Engines to last 2 full race weekends in 2005 and 6 full race weekends in 2006
It goes on and on...
You know..I write articles for the Formula 1 fans here...now I think I might just say **** F1 and start watching IRL. I hope the FIA really thought this through...keep your eyes on this space, we might be posting a note soon about Honda's immediate decision to terminate its involvement in Formula 1. This "ORDER" is pure bull****.....
