Here's a reminder of what we know about the '06 Honda Civic so far:

• at least 200hp, a 6MT, and a limited slip differential for the Si
• retain a strut setup up front, though the rear suspension is said to be slightly revised.
• expecting 17" wheels standard on the Si with 215/45-17 high performance "summer" tires
• base models get a new 1.8L 140hp SOHC i-VTEC motor
• upper models possibly getting 155-160hp versions of the same motor
• automatic climate control will be offered in upper models (including Si)

Announcement:

The Temple of VTEC recently submitted a proposal to Honda requesting a Civic Si to build up as a project car. We've recently learned that the proposal was approved and we should be receiving our car some time in early August. The TOV Project Si will make its world debut alongside the production Civic Si models at this year's SEMA show in Las Vegas. Watch for updates this fall!
