you been having problems hooking up? If so, I'd look into some new tires. And run them at around 20 Psi on the track. With under 200 hp in what is practically a 3000 lb car, traction should not be a problem. I know my car hooks up almost immediately off the line, and then chirps the tires on its way into 2nd. But its nothing like my 280Z. When that car is properly tuned, I can smoke the tires for a good part of 1st gear and then light em up again as I go into 2nd. But thats only if I REALLY push it, its fully tuned, and with no tread on the rear tires. I wouldn't worry too much about traction. Unless you are trying to beat WRXs on your launch. In that case, good luck...
hmm, i didnt really answer the question though. In order to improve your traction on launch, run really stiff springs in the back to keep the front tires on the ground. Its kind of hard to use shocks to adjust the traction on a FWD car. In RWD, you can induce a ton of squat and cause the rear tires to just stick to the ground. Could you imagine a FWD wheelstander? lol.

haha.. I'm gettin the konih&r set-up for my 97 non-sh - the parts are on order, and I was inquiring whether anyone had any feedback on that particular set-up. I'm looking to beef the handling so I'll do the struts and springs first, change up the tread or possibly increase rim size to 17" and do the tread (haven't decided). 2nd last I'll install a rear strut bar, and last I'll do the sway bars and replace them with something a bit bigger. Anyone know what size the stock swaybar on a 97 non-sh lude is anyways??

I have an 01 and the Front is 25.4 and Rear is 23.0. Should be the same on yours.
