So, there you go again... (more info on previous post)

Since Honda's CR-Z website is finally up and I can configure my car, I gave it a little try.

The result? If I want something as simple as "side&curtain airbags" Honda forces me to get every single option on the CR-Z:
- skyroof
- 16" alloys
- leather seating
- HDD navigation with 180º rear camera
- HID + foglights
- keyless start/open

End of it, a whoping 3.1M JPY ... why does "safety" necesarilly mean "being rich" in Japan !?!??! Arjjj...

Bye bye airbags, I don't have 3.1M JPY to spend on a car like this...

Darn, it's worse than I thought, you can't even get alloys+navy in the beta...

You can get alloys, you can get navy, but not both together...
Wanna get those two? you have to step up to the alfa and start at 2.8M JPY...

I do hope Honda makes a lot of money on this mess... This doesn't look good to me, I'll end up wishing I'd be living in Europe...

I'm sure the options and trim level will be different for the US
and Europe, they usually are over here in the UK, but we really have to pay for it.

Thanks for the tip on the configurator. However, you forgot to add the floor mats made from the bio-fiber material for 19950 JPY :)

I don't think it is, for sure it must make sense for Japanese people, it simply doesn't fit my needs...

Or you could just wipe your ass dog style on the floor. It's cheaper that way.
