When you slowly accelerate an 04 or 05 TL to 50-55mph and hold it around that speed. Tell us if you feel the engine lugging or vibrating just a little bit.
Is that normal? Does this vibration exsist on all 04 and 05 tl's? If so, what is Acura going to do about it?
Is this a defect and will the lemon law cover this type of problem?

I just purchased an 05 TL and have noticed the same thing. My RPM's are around 1400 - 1600. Is there a fix for this?

If it's around 50-55 probably just an unbalanced wheel.

The '04-05 TL gets 29 mpg on the highway. To get that much, the car shifts into 5 gear and torq converter lockup as soon as possible. When driving moderatly, this happens at about 55mph/1500rpm. The engine will lug at that rpm and that makes the car vibrate. Above 60mph, you done notice it and I guess its not really a problem. It used to bother me until I figured out what was going on and now I don't even think about it anymore. Great car, otherwise.

I avoided 50-55 mph unless I downshifted into 4th; I never noted much, if any, drop in mpg if I kept a light throttle.
