aren't dealerships supposed to be the best when it comes to servicing my 97 Honda Civic 5-speed? WHY could they not fix it the FIRST TIME.............it took THREE Times. They finally said it was the Oil Pump. I have 193,000 miles on the car. NEVER EVER LEAKED OIL --- EVER ------But started AFTER their Timing Belt Repair..........I know this because I have monitored my car for the past 9 years with cardboard under the vehicle....... Soooooooooooooo, question? Aren't they supposed to find oil leaks the FIRST TIME........? Thank you from Austin, TExas.

Seriously, don't take a 13 year old car to the dealer. Do some legwork, and find a good independent mechanic. Not only will the do a better job they often cost considerably less.

dang. Well, too late. It's all fixed. The dealership has been OK to me. I mean, I know they cost an arm & a leg. I FINALLY found a TRUSTY independent mechanice for the next Five years. 195,000 miles now. I should be set ! I test drove the New 2010 Sedan Civic LX 5 -speed and unfortunately, I am NOT in love with the 2010. I still LOVE MY 1997. Go figure. I am NOT thrilled with computer Speedometer. I hope they change that big time. I hate it. Just hate it. Thank You, Ryan. but seriously. A Dealership should have found it the 1st time. THAT is my beef. right?
