Author Thread       RSX Re: Fallacy Of improved gas milage thru turbocharging ?    (Score: 1, Normal) 11-27-2009 11:42 It is expected that highway millage would improve because boost doesn't come into effect until higher rpm's. So, basically, when you're doing 60mph at 2000rpm's you're running a naturally aspirated 4cyl. motor which will be lighter than a 6 and more efficient. In the real world, however, I see little benefit except for marketing, cost and packaging to manufacturers.
