Hi all,

Brother forgot to turn the wiper off so when I started the car up without clearing the snow on the windshield, it must have fried something.
I already checked and tested the fuse and it's fine. Does it uses a relay or something like that under the dashboard that I can check?

Thanks

There is a know problem with the '04 TL wiper motor. The repair is around 350-450 dollars. They have to remove all of the underhood plastic around the base of the windshield.

there have been several post about it here I think and also at Acurazine.com

Ended up getting mine covered at 65k miles, I gave the dealer a bunch of posts about it including one that shows where water had gotten into the motor.

There is also another possible problem and that repair is around a grand to have fixed.

I spoke with AJ Blanschwe at Acura.
