Even In these uncertain times, our bread-and-butter products are showing real growth
And that's about it. If it weren't for the increase in Accord/Civic sales, this would have been a negative month. Glad to see the CR-V still going strong though, and the Fit. I haven't looked at the other manufacturers sales, but I bet a lot are down as well. The increase in the Accord sales is a good sign that they made the right choice increasing the size.
Acura needs some life soon, in the form of TL/TSX and RL redesign. They can't come soon enough.

Well, certainly this wasn't a bad month for Honda when one takes in consideration how things were around.
- Honda was +4.7%, with 5 models in positive and 9 in negative, without any new models.
- Toyota was +0.3%, with 8 models in positive and 16 in negative. They would have been in red if not for the new model introduction of the Scion xD.
- Nissan was +6.1%, with 7 models in positive and 10 in negative. Actually, if not because of the newly introduced Rogue sales, Nissan could have been in the red. I wrote "could" and not "would" because one could argue that some sales from other Nissan SUV's went to the Rogue; if you simple remove them they sold less cars than in 11/07.
Besides, Acura showing was poorer than it should, mainly because 06/11 was first full month of the redesigned MDX with out-of-the-blue record-sales level (inventories had their word then), and it was also a record month for the TSX. In fact, past November was an all time record for Acura in that month, and certainly this year they are not in record-breaking pace, they won't reach it until the sedans redesign (assuming they don't mess it up ^o^ ).
