Maybe that is Honda got a "7% increase" in hp now? Maybe that and reprogram of the engine module? Hell, I wouldn't be surprised that by changing the exhaust system on the current gen7 Accord that you'd get the same "177hp" that the Gen8 is reporting.

God I wish Hondata would write some new code for the K24a4's. If Honda got 190hp just by a muffler change and a s/w reprogram, I would be all over some code for my Accord.

exhaust manifold wise, it might be a wash, the stock 7th gen header is dumpy and restrictive.

however, note the 2008 K24 has a different intake tract and intake manifold.
