Also strange that they haven't released a TSB till now since the update hit the dealers in early July.
Word on the street is there will be another ECU patch coming up shortly to address the same problem. More than likely they have been collecting data on the issue and are zeroing in on the problem.
So, lol, we've reached the point where our cars need month updates like our computers.
What caught my eye is the "Out of Warranty" section. Basically, once you car's out of warranty, it's up to the District Parts and Service Manager to show his "good will" and authorize your shop to reflash your car. Better remember to take your baby in a few weeks before the warranty expires.
If the second re-flash is true, my guess is that Honda Canada hasn't given Canadians any update yet because we're just going to get the revised one - which the yankies will be able to have re-reflashed.
