Sweet video. Hard to believe that thing goes that fast. 147. Sheesh...that is way up there. My brother has an RX-8, 238 HP. I had it to 142 in 6th with about 1500 RPM left. Guess that the Si has a similar top speed. Very nice. He'll be pissed when I get my Si Sedan and go neck and neck. Did you have that Si brought over there Nighthawk?
Yeah i shipped it from illinois. I flew 12hrs, picked it up, stayed a day and a half and flew 12hrs back here. it took it a month to get here. the military even paid me per diem, travel costs and tickets for me and the wife. all on paid leave. so i actually made 500 bucks just for going to get it myself.
dont get me wrong, the SI is fast but I doubt it will accelerate like a rx8 it took a little downhill to hit that 140. if u notice that i shifted kind of messed up from 5 to 6. and i started from 45mph in 3rd so i could do way more but i had to set the camera up.
we're gonna find out. theres a cute little cop chick on base that has one and she's itchin to race. of course i'll have my friend drive her car tho. (just to keep it fair) :-)
She wanted to race my crx! HA! i wouldnt break her heart like that tho. build em up, break em down.

Please be careful on that Autobahn, cars that make mistakes on that road DON'T go to the body shop. :)
no prob. guess that hushed the critics up. 147 was in sixth and on a pretty good downslope. the car could still slightly pull with the help of the hill and you could tell it wanted to pull at the bottom of the hill also. I'm very confident that the gearing (the top anyway) will be great with forced induction.
It's kind of surprising that it will go that fast. Thanks for taking that video. You should head out with a faster car early on a Sunday and tuck in behind it and see if it'll hit 157 like it did on the dyno. My Dad was stationed over there in the 80s and even then we couldn't cruise very fast for long due to traffic on many days.
