wat kinda of GTR was that? was it stock, i kinda doubt it because of the large wing and kit. perhaps it was the z-tune? anybody know? and yea funny reply by that guy on the board calling the the honda crap. bragging about teh gtr's straight line speed when the nsx was clearly being held back in the corners.
Ya, nice post. Love that sound! And I too found that comment funny, it was almost worth registering just to comment on that silliness. Clean lap for clean lap I reckon the NSX-R might have a second or so on the Skyline.

A stock GTR would have a hard time against the the NSX-R on the 1/4 mile.
The clip was great and yes the sound of that V6 was fantastic; makes the other Japanese "sport" cars sound very ordinary.
I just saw BMI no.17"Racing Bonanza".
The mighty ITR(the only NA car) dispatched all those "girly" turbo competitors on the track, it also won the 1/4 mile drag.
On the same DVD the NSX-R clocked a 1/4 mile of 12".554 slightly faster than the Gallardo!

That was no GTR. It was a RWD Skyline. A real GTR would have left the NSX on the starting line. And in twisties, the AWD of the GTR would have just increased that distance further more.
No this Skyline has a turbo for sure (look how fast it passed the NSX at high speed, and how easily it walk away from exiting curves.: only a turbo would could do that), but it was RWD.
