Hey, Honda isn't a charity. It's a public company and part of its duty is to make as much profit as possible.
To that end, it should charge as much for its products as the market will bear.
Continuous record sales in the face of industry's lowest discounts show that customers are willing to pay for Honda's products.
Maybe they're greedy and they want to push just a little bit more. I don't think average $100-200 increase will have much effect on the real selling price. Or in the decision of a customer to go with Honda or not.
