I have 1995 del Sol which should have a similar steering system to Civics and Integras of the same gen. Anyways, about a month ago this intermitant squeak started to occur as I turn the steering wheel from left to right. I mean that the squeak occurs when the tyres are pointed left and I turn them straight, or when I turn right. The weird thing about the squeak is that occurs on and off during driving or parked. There doesn't seem to be any environmental circumstances that effect it. The squeak sounds like a rubber squeak, not metal on metal. At first I thought somehow my tire had rubbed the wheel well, but this is not the situation, but should give you an idea of the sound.
