This is a bit humorous:

My wife and son were cruising down I-20 east of Dallas in our 04 Pilot RES when they ran up behind another Pilot sporting an " Ohio Manufacturer" tag. Lightly noting the presence of a "twin," they passed it and next surprisingly found themselves next behind an MDX sporting an "Ohio Manufacturer" tag as well. After the MDX too moved over, they found themselves staring at a lightly disguised 06 SUT!!! The casual atmoshpere quickly changed as they brought out the digital camera. The SUT driver went into an immediate evasive mode, slowing from 75 to 40 instantly. The "Manufacturer" MDX and Pilot also quickly shielded the SUT from our Olympus camera's lense. Not to be detered, my wife played cat and mouse for the better part of 20 miles with the SUT as my 9 year old gleefully snapped pictures from the back seat. Overall, I think he did a great job getting some outstanding detail pics of the upcoming Honda truck.
ENJOY!!!

Great photos!! Love the chasing story too.

I just love the 2nd row seat looks big on that truck, all double cabin truck for me is a sorry excuse to put crampy unliveable 2nd row seats. I guess the idea of Honda putting sedan-like-quality in a truck seems clearer by the day.

Exterior: The Tailgate doesn't seem to line up with the sides of the bed. It has Mud Flaps, not Splash Guards that are found on other Hondas. There is Ridges along the side of the doors. Good Fit all around. There are lights in the bed. Rear window looks like it Slides, doesn't go down. It needs to be washed haha. Sunroof and possible XM Satellite Radio Hump. In the Last Picture it looks like something is dangling from the bottom. Might be normal.

Interior: Big Navi/DVD Screen in Dash. Silver trimmed Instrument Panel/Guages (?) Large Headrests.

Other: Little Yellow sticker in bottom right corner of front winshield says "7 27". Is this a temporary registration of some sort and this truck has been driving around for more than 2 weeks? The Gas Prices! $172/$1.69 Here in Buffalo Ney York We are paying in the $1.90s+.

Good Pictures Closer2001. Tell your wife and especially son thanks.

cool pics!

Something I don't understand, what is the purpose of the black tape on yet to be released vehicles? It does very little to disguise what it is, especially in this case since the truck has a fairly unique look.

The bed appears very short, I don't know if it is an angular illusion or not. Pretty good looking truck, would look better with a longer bed and without the wierd angled sides that angle up to the roof.

I think if they got rid of the angular things, it would look less like an Avalanche, a lot, and I think it will be criticized for looking like one. I still think it looks cool though.

It almost looks like they were trying use the black tape to make it look like an Avalanch. The tape seems to be an attempt to make the truck look like something else.........

I don't like the bulkyness of this SUT...and I say the angular 'things' on the bed need to go for sure. What are they there for?? It looks ugly in photos, but Honda's always look better in person anywho...

Anyone know if the interior on the production vehicle will look like the concept truck or will it be something different? That interior is very futuristic looking....a little too much for my taste.
